On December 20-22, the 3rd and the 4th year students of Environmental Monitoring Chair of ISEI BSU had an opportunity to attend lectures of Chernaya V.V., PhD in Geography, Associate Professor of Medicine of Catastrophes and Emergency Medical Department of Ryazan State Medical University named after academician I.P. Pavlov.
Relevant issues for urban ecology were considered: modernization of tourist business and infrastructure development of world’s cities in terms of COVID-19; recreational urban areas creation, their upgrade; measures on preservation and biodiversity increase; implementation of Low Impact Design approach in landscape design; green infrastructure creation to ensure social welfare of local residents and other issues.
