• Medical examination
Upon arrival in the Republic of Belarus you have to pass medical examination at «33 City Student Polyclinic» during 7 days.
Medical certificate should be provided to the International Relations Department.
ATTENTION, MEDICAL EXAMINATION IS A COMPULSORY PROCEDURE!
A medical examination should is required annually before the beginning of an academic year.
If you don’t pass a medical examination on time you will be not allowed to attend lectures and practical classes.

• Medical insurance
All foreign citizens temporary staying in the Republic of Belarus have a right to get first and emergency medical aid free of charge in the state medical care institutions of the Republic of Belarus.
ISEI BSU foreign students who are SUBJECTED TO A COMPULSORY MEDICAL INSURANCE (except for the citizens of Armenia, Great Britain, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Russia, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan) MUST buy a medical insurance policy for the period of study (for one year with a subsequent extension).
An insurance policy has a reminder with phones required in case of insured event (disease), medical institutions, and ambulance call.
• Visa and registration
All foreign citizens arrived to study at ISEI BSU must be registered in a local migration department DURING 10 DAYS from the day of arrival!
To issue documents for registration you should contact International Relations Department

The following documents are required to issue temporary stay permit:
-temporary residence application form;
(ask a specialist of International Relations Department);
-copy of a notarized translation of a passport (3 pages);
(an original translation of a passport into Russian must first be certified by a notary of the Republic of Belarus)
-copy of a study contract;
-copy of a medical insurance policy;
(except for the citizens of Armenia, Great Britain, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Russia, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan)
-copy of a rental agreement;
-copy of a study visa from a passport;
(for citizens from visa entry countries)
-copy of a temporary residence from a passport;
-receipt of state fee payment.

WHEN CHANGING THE ADDRESS OF RESIDENCE YOU SHOULD CONTACT INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS DEPARTMENT AND ISSUE DOCUMENTS FOR REREGISTRATION.
3 DAYS ARE GIVEN TO CHANGE THE ADDRESS OF RESIDENCE!
To issue an exit-entry visa (for citizens from visa entry countries) for holiday time it is required to write an application at the Dean’s office of your faculty and submit the following documents to International Relations Department:
-copy of a medical insurance policy;
(except for the citizens of Armenia, Great Britain, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Russia, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan)
-copy of a temporary residence from a passport;
-receipt of state fee payment).

IF YOU TRAVEL ABROAD FOR HOLIDAY TIME YOU MUST INFORM THE DEAN’S OFFICE AND INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS DEPARTMENT!!!
After completing studies ALL foreign citizens must contact International Relations Department:
-to issue temporary stay (for citizens from visa-free countries);
-to issue an exit visa (for citizens from visa entry countries).
In case of late registration a foreign citizen will be subjected to administrative liability in the form of penalty at the rate from 1 to 10 base amounts!
In case of repeated violation a procedure of deportation will be carried out!
Since January 1, 2022, 1 base amount is equal to 32 BYN in the Republic of Belarus.
