On September 1, ISEI BSU launched the new 2026/2027 academic year. A series of festive and organizational events were held for first‑year students, marking their entry into the student family.
The ceremonial lineup was led by the Director of the Institute, Aleh Ivanovich Rodzkin. He congratulated the freshmen on this significant occasion, emphasized the high importance of environmental education in the modern world, and wished them success in mastering their chosen specialisations, as well as in academic and social activities.
Distinguished guests joined the institute’s staff to share the celebratory moment and offer their words of encouragement to the students:
- Shunkin Dmitry Sergeevich – Deputy Chairman of the Minsk City Committee of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection;
- Bondaruk Roman Sergeevich – Deputy Head of the Administration of the Partizansky District of Minsk;
- Archpriest Oleg Golubev – Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Theology at BSU Saints Methodius and Cyrill Institute of Theology;
- Maskevich Sergey Aleksandrovich – Honorary Professor of the Institute, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences.
The programme of the first day continued with traditional orientation meetings at the faculties. The freshmen met with the deans and received initial information about the structure of the academic process. During the meetings with academic group tutors, students familiarised themselves with the class schedule and internal regulations. Representatives of the institute’s youth and student organisations (the BRYU, the Student Council, and the Students’ Trade-Union Committee) presented opportunities for creative, sports, and volunteer activities.
The administration and academic staff of ISEI BSU congratulate the first‑year students on the start of their student journey and wish them a productive academic year, new discoveries, and great achievements!
