On May 22, 2026, regular meeting of Public Council of the Base Organization of the CIS states-members in environmental education took place in Minsk.
Members of the Public Council who represent the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Moldova, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Republic of Uzbekistan participated in the meeting headed by Rodzkin Aleh I., the chairman of the Base Organization.
Kazak Galina N., adviser of the department for cooperation in political, humanitarian, and social spheres of the CIS Executive Committee also took part in the meeting.
The representatives of the University of Novi Sad and the Institute for Multidisciplinary Research of Belgrade University (Serbia) were invited to the meeting.
Participants discussed the issues of current environmental agenda within the implementation of international programs of society sustainable development, the improvement of joint research work and publications, approaches to patriotic and educational work with students.
Representatives of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tajikistan were included to the Public Council as new members.
