Within the participation in the International Forum in Information and Communication Technologies TIBO-2023, ISEI BSU representatives Zhuravkov V.V., Urbanovich N.D., Shalkevich P.K., and Tonkonogov B.A. entered the top five teams of the Republic of Belarus in the competition Belarus ICT StartUp Award’ 2023.
The StartUp «Information and analytical system of online-monitoring for comprehensive study of anthropogenic and natural factor impact on the environment on the example of Orsha and Orsha district» was presented in the competition.
First in the Republic of Belarus, the developed information and analytical resource allows monitoring the pollution of the main biogeocenosis components, namely: atmospheric air, waste and surface water, groundwater, soils, and radiation monitoring. Besides, the possibility of retrospective data analysis is provided. The uniqueness of the development is that the information resource was developed based on innovative and information systems and technologies using the advanced Web- and GIS-technologies. It is an automated information system that displays terrain objects in the form of their cartographic representation and information description associated with it providing tools to work with them.
There are no analogues of the developed system of online monitoring of the environmental component state in the Republic of Belarus and the CIS countries.
