Our scholarship holders, Polyukhovich Andrey, Polyachok Tatyana work with various projects within the Scholarship program of the V.I. Vernadsky Nongovernmental Ecological Foundation. But the main one for them is «Geo-information systems for the education of sustainable development (education in the interest of sustainable development)». They take active part in lectures, workshops, and also give lessons at the open platforms within this program.
On January 27, 2022, participating in the open student platform, our guys shared their experience in the implementation of GIS-projects with the students from Russia, Kazakhstan, and Belarus. The platform was held with the support of Interuniversity Environmental Club where students learn about interesting topics, get to know each other better, determine new areas of work.
On January 31, 2022, our scholarship holders took active part in the interactive lecture of the company «Картетика» which promotes innovative GIS-projects and provides advanced training of specialists in this field. Olga Gommershtadt, a lecturer who read a lecture for scholarship holders of the V.I. Vernadsky Foundation, noted our guys’ interest in this topic and their high training level.

On February 24, 2022, we are going to watch the presentation of Andrey Polyukhovich at III International Scientific and Methodological Conference «Environmental Education and Sustainable Development. Condition, goals, problems and prospects» based on International Sakharov Environmental Institute of Belarusian State University. Andrey will speak together with Tatyana Avgusmanova, PhD in Pedagogical Sciences, the head of the Scholarship program of the V.I. Vernadsky Foundation.
