On May 20, the meeting was held with the participation of Rodzkin Aleh, Director of ISEI BSU, Zhuravkov Vladislav, Deputy Director for Education, Alexeichik Elena, Head of International Relations Department, Tonkonogov Boris, Dean of Environmental Monitoring Faculty, Putik Vladimir, Dean of Advanced Training and Retraining Faculty, Dubko Andrey, Deputy Dean of Environmental Medicine Faculty, Gritskevich Eugeny, Associate Professor of Immunology Chair, Shahab Siyamak, Head of Environmental Chemistry and Biochemistry Chair and Savastenko Nataliya, Head of Nuclear and Medical Technologies Chair.
Foreign guests visited ISEI BSU to take part in the 25th International Scientific Conference «Sakharov Readings 2025: environmental problems of the XXI century» and intend to develop cooperation in the field of environmental education and science. At the beginning of the meeting, the Chinese colleagues were introduced to the structure and admission rules for foreign citizens to enter the leading environmental institute of the Republic of Belarus as well as they were told about educational programs.
«We highly appreciate international cooperation and consider experience share with the representatives of the People’s Republic of China as a great opportunity to develop and improve our educational programs and scientific research», – Rodzkin Aleh noted.
Joint Belarusian Chinese projects and research in biochemistry and medical physics were proposed as one of prospective forms of cooperation.
It should be said that the initiatives discussed at the meeting will be worked out in detail in the near future.
The meeting ended with an excursion and introduction of material technical base of the academic building at Dolgobrodskaya str., 23/1.
