Polyachok Tatyana and Polyuhovich Andrey, scholarship holders of the V.I. Vernadsky Foundation, the students of Brest State University named after A.S. Pushkin, presented the results of work on relevant environmental topics within XXII International scientific conference «Sakharov readings 2022: environmental problems of the XXIst century» at the section «Ecosystem rehabilitation, environmental monitoring». They also told about their work within the V.I. Vernadsky Foundation Scholarship Program. Polyuhovich Andrey presented the report «The current state, protection, and monitoring of the swamps of Pripyat Polissya».
More than 90 scientists, ecologists, and experts from nine countries took part in the forum (Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Italy, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and Kazakhstan).
