Famous scientists and specialists in the field of environmental education from the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, the Republic of Belarus spoke at the plenary session: Zakhlebny A.N., Dziatkovskaya E.N., Pustovalova V.V., Dlimbetova G.K., Russkih I.A.
200 section reports were submitted to the conference, including the sections:
«Theory and methodology of modern environmental education development: purposes of stable development in the framework of preschool and secondary education system» – 44 reports;
«Scientific-methodological approaches to the organization of educational environment to achieve stable development purposes» – 71 reports;
«Innovations and pedagogical creativity as a condition to implement stable development purposes» – 52 reports;
«Supplementary education for children, youth and adults in the interests of stable development purposes» – 33 reports.
258 representatives from 35 higher educational establishments of the Republic of Belarus, 10 secondary educational establishments, 10 gymnasiums, 2 lyceums, 33 secondary schools, and 7 preschool educational establishments; 8 supplementary educational establishments, also 40 foreign higher educational establishments and organizations from the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and Kyrgyzstan took part in the conference.
The arrangement and holding of II International scientific-methodological conference «Environmental education and stable development. Condition, purposes, issues, and prospects» allowed to create of a discussion electronic platform for preschool, secondary and higher education academic staff, supplementary education system methodologists, specialists of other organizations in the field of environmental education for the implementation of stable development purposes.
Attracting a significant number of participants both from the Republic of Belarus and from near and far abroad countries ensures the growth of professional ties that will help to implement new research fields and increase the effectiveness of international cooperation in environmental education to implement stable development purposes.
