On September 18, 2020, the Director of the ISEI BSU, Professor Sergey Maskevich, met with Julian Repetin, a master’s student at the Institute of Earth Sciences of the Southern Federal University (Rostov-on-Don, Russian Federation), who, within the framework of the academic mobility program under the agreement on interaction and cooperation between the educational institution “International Sakharov Environmental Institute” of the Belarussian State University and the Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution of Higher Education “Southern Federal University” (Rostov-on-Don, Russian Federation), studies during the first semester of the 2020/2021 academic year at the ISEI BSU under the master’s program “Ecology. Environmental management”. To get to study at our institute, the master’s student won a competition for a scholarship of the rector of the Southern Federal University, chose Minsk among the offered internship options, and in it the profile university of the BSU – ISEI BSU.
At today’s meeting, the director of the Institute asked about his impressions from the first days of his stay in our institute, Minsk (before the moment of training, Julian was not in Belarus). Master student is satisfied with the living conditions in the hostel №3 of the BSU Campus, the study conditions and the teachers.
Also during the conversation, the topic of science attitude was touched upon, and Julian shared his thoughts about continuing his education, studying in a postgraduate course in the profile of hydrogeoecology.
The process of training of master student at the ISEI BSU will be carried out with the direct participation and guidance of the senior lecturer of the Department of Environmental Monitoring and Management of the Faculty of Environmental Monitoring Andrey Sergeyevich Rodzkin.
