Speciality 1-43 01 06 “Energy-efficient technologies and power engineering management”. ISEI BSU (iseu.bsu.by) Faculty of Environmental Monitoring Profile Department of Energy-efficient Technologies Profile entrance tes Physics (CT) Mathematics (CT) Russian / Belarusian language (CT) Specialist qualification Energy Manager Engineer Form of training – full-time, part-time (integrated education system) The recruitment process is carried out for master’s and postgraduate s Duration of training 4 years-full-time form 3 years-correspondence form Subjects studied: – Operation of power plants; – Energy audit and management; – Energy consumption in buildings and structures; – Efficiency of energy systems; – Fuel and its use; – Renewable energy sources; – Fundamentals of designing renewable energy facilities; – Energy resources management; – Bioenergetics and other disciplines. | Energy-efficient technologies are a set of solutions that are aimed at the efficient (rational) use of energy resources. Energy management is a system for managing energy consumption, such as an integral part of an automat process control system that allows you to significantly optimize the volume of energy consumption, predict and control the processes of production, transportation and use of energy resources to ensure the economic activities of organizations. The purpose of training: preparation for conducting professional activities in the field of efficient use of fuel and energy resources (fuel and energy resources) and management energy consumption. The teachers have extensive practical experience working in energy companies and enterprises of the republic, they have completed internships abroad. Students are trained using modern equipment and stands that simulate various energy processes, and undergo internships in foreign companies. | During their studies, students undergo practical training at enterprises engaged in: – production and distribution of electric and thermal energy; – energy supervision over the activities of enterprises; – design and installation of electrical and heat networks; – development and implementation of renewable energy sources in traditional energy supply systems, etc. When preparing for the speciality professional knowledge is acquired in the following areas: – development and implementation of energy-efficient technologies in various industries; – conducting a systematic energy analysis of the use of fuel and energy resources by the organization; – control and accounting of fuel and energy resources consumption; – optimization of energy processes; – production, transportation and consumption of heat and electricity; – design of renewable energy facilities; – energy planning and finance in the field of energy conservation; |
Employment prospects by profession. This profession is the most popular currently in demand. Energy is used everywhere, and for its effective use, the presence of an energy engineer in the organization is necessary. A graduate of this speciality can apply for work in various fields of activity. This is a large range of various enterprises and organizations that are engaged in the production, transmission, distribution and consumption of electricity. Basically, the graduates of this speciality are distributed: – to the energy services of enterprises and companies; – energonadzor enterprises; – enterprises engaged in the supply and operation of electrical and thermal equipment, industrial automation; – enterprises of the gas and fuel and energy industry; – in the energy departments of construction and transport enterprises; – companies engaged in the installation and repair of power plants, etc. | What you have to do at work by specialization: – design of electrical and thermal networks for the rational distribution of electric and thermal energy flows, reducing their consumption to a technically justified level, and eliminating overloads in certain sections of energy systems; – carrying out research, calculations and drawing up optimal schemes of electric and thermal networks; – selection of the most optimal types of equipment for the organization, based on the best ratio of price, quality and reliability of the power system; – control of the installation of energy-generating and energy-consuming equipment and participation in all processes for its commissioning; – commissioning of power grids and thermal equipment, its testing before commissioning of the facility; – calculation of energy consumption, determination of directions of its rational use; – selection and operation of renewable energy sources (wind energy, solar energy, biogas plants); | – implementation of automated systems for monitoring and accounting of energy resources. This is not the full range of responsibilities. Their circle may increase due to the specifics of the organization in which the specialist works. Advantages of studying for a Master’s degree. Bachelor graduates have the opportunity to enroll in a master’s program. Continuing education involves an in-depth program that will allow you to expand the range of prospects. Current positions – energy manager; – electrical engineer; – heat engineer; – power engineer; – chief power engineer; If you have any questions about admission, please contact: Admission committee: +375 (17) 398-96-48 Minsk, 23/1 Dolgobrodskaya str., cab. 316 Email: abitur@iseu.by Department of Energy-Efficient Technologies: +375 (17) 246-36-90; +375 (17) 273-32-25; E-mail: Pashynski@mail.ru |
