On February 21, the National Library of Belarus hosted a solemn event dedicated to the International Native Language Day. It was attended by representatives of the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, heads of foreign diplomatic missions, representatives of international organizations accredited in Belarus, members of the National Commission of Belarus for UNESCO, heads of UNESCO departments, representatives of cultural and academic circles. On the occasion of the holiday, foreign diplomats read out excerpts from works about their homeland in their native language.
