On January 23, 2020, a meeting of the International Board of Trustees of the ISEI BSU (hereinafter referred to as the IBT) was held, which was attended by:
Alexander Vladimirovich Kilchevsky, Chairman of IBT, Academician, Professor, Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Republic of Belarus;
Viktor Anatolyevich Gaisenok, Deputy Chairman of the IBT, Professor, Rector of the Republican Institute of Higher Education, Republic of Belarus;
Mikhail Vladimirovich Belevtsev, Deputy Director for Science of the Russian National Research Center for Pediatric Oncology, Hematology and Immunology, Republic of Belarus;
Valery Alyaksandrovich Kozhemyakin, Director of the Research and Production Unitary Enterprise “Atomtech”, Republic of Belarus;
Marina Vladimirovna Borovka, Deputy General Director for Public Relations of the unitary enterprise “Coca-Cola Beverages Belarus”, Republic of Belarus.

The meeting was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Belarus, Professor Mahmadsharif Mahmud Hakdod, corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Agenda of the meeting:
- On amendments to the composition of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
- On the results of the activities of the ISEI BSU and the IBT in 2019.
- On proposals to activate the activities of the members of the IBT in order to increase the rating of the journal “Ecology”.
- On the preparation for the international scientific conference “Sakharov Readings 2020: environmental problems of the XXI century”.
Professor Sergey Lysenko, Director of the Institute of Nature Management of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, was elected a new member of the International Board of Trustees.
After summing up the results of the activities of the ISEI BSU and the IBT for 2019, the issues of further cooperation of the IBT members in the scientific and educational spheres were discussed.
The members of the IBT expressed their intention to actively participate in the preparation of materials for the international conference “Sakharov Readings 2020: Environmental Problems of the XXI Century”, and also supported the initiative of the Institute to create the conditions necessary for the inclusion of the publication “Journal of the Belarusian State University. Ecology” in the scientometric database SKOPUS.
Sergey Alyaksandrovich Maskevich thanked all the participants of the meeting of the International Board of Trustees for their fruitful work and expressed hope for active cooperation in the future.
