Based on The agreement on cooperation and joint activities for training specialists with higher education dated 05.02.2010 No. 03/2010, letters of the Ministry of education of the Republic of Belarus dated 11.10.2010 No. 04-03-12 / 1692, letters of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Belarus dated 05.10.2010 No. 06. – 2-14/16002, letters of the Ministry of education and science of the Republic of Armenia dated 04.08.2010 No. 01/18-1/7488-10 by the decision of the Council of the Sakharov International State Ecological Institute of BSU No. 8 dated 26.04.2011, the Yerevan branch of the Sakharov International State Ecological Institute of BSU was established.
In accordance with the order of the Ministry of education of the Republic of Belarus No. 393 dated 08.05.2015, starting from 01.09.2015. The Yerevan branch of the A.D. Sakharov International State Ecological Institute of BSU was renamed the Yerevan branch of the BSU Sakharov International State Ecological Institute of BSU.
The Yerevan branch of the Sakharov International State Ecological Institute of BSU is located in the academic building of the Armenian medical Institute at 14 Titogradyan street, Yerevan, 0087, Republic of Armenia.
Currently, the Director of the Yerevan branch is L. V. Andriasyan.

The Yerevan branch provides training of personnel with higher education in the specialty of the first stage of higher education in the correspondence form of education:
- 1-33 01 05 Medical ecology, qualification ecologist-expert. The training period is 5 years. Training is conducted in Russian.
Enrollment in the number of students is carried out based on the results of an interview in Russian, biology and chemistry. The interview is held annually from October 20 to October 25.
Currently, 72 students are enrolled in 1-4 courses of the Yerevan branch. In specialized classrooms, students of the Yerevan branch study the following subjects::
- “Fundamentals of medical knowledge»,
- “Environmental medicine»,
- “General and private pharmacology»,
- “Immunobiology and immunopathology»,
- “Medical genetics»,
- “Pathological physiology and anatomy” and other medical, environmental, and biological disciplines.
In the specialty “Medical ecology”, students receive deep medical-biological, ecological-Toxicological, epidemiological and humanitarian-psychological training that allows them to work in various areas of the national economy.
Qualified training of environmental experts allows you to successfully work as an expert, epidemiologist, toxicologist, physiologist, immunologist, ecologist, microbiologist, researcher in research and production institutions.
