New types of photosensitizers have been developed that are highly effective in PDT treatment of cancer and other diseases. Models have been developed to analyze the distribution of porphyrin photosensitizers in the body. The possibility of using different types of nanocarriers for controlled changes in the pharmacokinetics of photosensitizers during photodynamic therapy is shown.
He was a scientific supervisor of more than 40 projects implemented within the framework of international and state scientific programs, programs of the Ministry of Development of the Republic of Belarus, 8 projects of the BRFFI, including joint projects with scientists from France, Russia, Ukraine, and India. According to the results of the research, more than 300 scientific papers were published, including more than 100 articles in peer-reviewed journals and foreign publications, and three patents were obtained for applications for inventions. The results of the research work were implemented at BSU, BSUIR, RSPC DOGI.
He was the scientific supervisor of 4 dissertations for the degree of Candidate of Biological Sciences and 3 dissertations for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy at the Henri Poincare University (Nancy, France).
