1. The concept of building an economic mechanism to preserve the biological diversity of specially protected natural territories (SPNAs) is developed, which is based on the study of the features of economic relations arising from the sustainable production of environmental functions of natural ecosystems as the basis for the existence of biodiversity. Biodiversity, being a type of ecological resource, as an economic category expresses the ability of an ecosystem to maintain its integrity and meet environmental needs.
2. An economic mechanism to preserve the biodiversity of protected areas is developed as a system of special tools, methods and conditions that ensure the natural integrity and sustainability of natural complexes based on a compromise between the long-term environmental goals of the reserve and the current economic interests of regional nature management. The structural content of the economic mechanism of biodiversity conservation (EMSB) is determined by two subsystems: organizational-economic and financial-economic.
3. The regional economic system of biodiversity conservation of the Pripyatsky National Park is defined as:

• • concept of the Pripyat Environmental Region (PER);
  • functional zoning of the National Park territory;
  • greening the economic activity of the National Park.

4. The mission of “NP “Pripyatsky” is to achieve sustainable leadership in the organization of conservation in specially protected natural areas of the CIS and Europe, strength its position in the World Strategy for the Conservation of Biological Diversity of the Earth-determines the need to expand the protected area and include the most valuable areas of wildlife of “Pripyatsky”
5. An organizational form of effective functioning of economic entities of the Pripyat Environmental Region is proposed, taking into account the environmental and economic interests of the National Park, which is a joint-stock company (SC) and a free economic zone (FEZ).

Member of Scientific Council for the Defense of Doctoral theses D-01.38.01.  of V. F. Kuprevich National Research Institute of Economics under the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus,  the specialty “Botany. Ecology. Biochemistry of Plants”, participant of the Chernobyl disaster elimination, well-known scientist in the field of botany, forest ecology, nature management and forest biogeocenology of Belarus and the CIS.
