He proposed a model that combines all possible variants of the theory of electroweak interactions with left-right symmetry, and within this model, he explained the magnitude of the experimental anomalous magnetic moment of the muon. Studying the physics of solar processes, he predicted the correlation of the neutrino flux with solar flares. Set limits on the masses of heavy neutrinos, which are candidates for cold dark matter particles in the universe. He showed that in the left-right model, it is possible to obtain agreement between the theory and the experiment on observing the radiation decay of a muon. The upper bounds for the magnetic dipole moments of neutrinos coinciding with the experiment were obtained. He predicted the most promising reactions to detect heavy neutrinos at the Large Hadron Collider.

Senior lecturer of the Department of Physics of the Kramatorsk Industrial Institute. Head of the Department of Theoretical Physics at the Belarusian State Pedagogical University, Professor of the Department of Theoretical Physics at the Belarusian State Pedagogical University. Professor of the Department of Physics and Higher Mathematics at International Sakharov Environmental Institute of Belarusian State University. He taught special courses in particle physics at the universities of Poland (Warsaw, Krakow) and Germany (Aachen, Bielefeld). In 1994 and 2004, he trained at the A. Salam International Center for Theoretical Physics (Trieste, Italy). Oleg Mikhailovich has been working at International Sakharov Environmental Institute of BSU since April 2012.
