Faculty of TNU

As a part of the implementation of the Agreement on “Establishment of a joint Institute of Technologies between Belarusian State University and Tajik National University dated on October 29, 2016, a joint institute of technologies was created where the Faculty of Environmentally Friendly Technologies of TNU-ISEI BSU operates The faculty recruits students the Republic of Tajikistan.

The main task of the faculty is to train highly qualified specialists who will successfully solve the problems of socio-economic development of the Republic of Tajikistan in the future.

According to the curriculum training at the faculty is carried out in Russian in the specialties and areas developed by TNU and International Sakharov Environmental Institute of BSU within the framework of educational standards of higher education of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Belarus.

As of 01.01.2018, 101 students (1st and 2nd years) study at the faculty of Environmental Technologies of International Sakharov Environmental Institute of BSU at I stage of higher education: “Energy-Efficient Technologies and Energy Management”, “Nuclear and Radiation Safety” and “Biomedical Engineering”.

The first stage of training (one or two academic years) is carried out in TNU (the Republic of Tajikistan).

The second stage of training is carried out at International Sakharov Environmental Institute of BSU and includes training of students in the second-fourth or third-fourth years with subsequent defense of the thesis, assignment of the appropriate qualification and issuance of a higher education diploma (special form) in accordance with the regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Tajikistan.

Final certification of students is carried out at International Sakharov Environmental Institute of BSU by the State Examination Commission which includes representatives of ISEI BSU and TNU (as agreed).
