As part of the implementation of the Agreement on “Establishment of a joint Institute of Technologies between the Belarusian State University and the Tajik National University of 29.10.2016, a joint institute of technologies was created in which the Faculty of environmentally friendly Technologies of TNU-MSEI named after A. D. Sakharov of BSU operates, which recruits students from among the citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The main task of the faculty is to train highly qualified specialists who will successfully solve the problems of socio-economic development of the Republic of Tajikistan in the future.
Training at the faculty, in accordance with the curriculum, is carried out in Russian in the specialties and areas developed by TNU and the Sakharov International State Ecological Institute of BSU, within the framework of educational standards of higher education of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Belarus.
As of 01.01.2018, 101 students (1st and 2nd courses) study at the faculty of environmental technologies of the Sakharov International State Ecological Institute of BSU in the first stage of higher education: “energy-Efficient technologies and energy management”, “Nuclear and radiation safety” and “Biomedical engineering”.
The first stage of training (one or two academic years) is carried out in TNU (Republic of Tajikistan).
The second stage of training is carried out at the Sakharov International State Ecological Institute of BSU and includes training of students in the second-fourth or third-fourth years with subsequent defense of the thesis, assignment of the appropriate qualification and issuance of a higher education diploma (special form) in accordance with the regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Tajikistan.
Final certification of students is carried out at the Sakharov International State Ecological Institute of BSU by the State examination Commission, which includes representatives of the SSakharov International State Ecological Institute of BSU and TNU (as agreed).
