The Republic of Belarus was included in the European Higher Education Area in 2015, a member of Bologna Process.
Most important steps on the integration in the international education area: the Republic of Belarus joined to Lisbon Convention (full title – Convention on the recognition of qualifications concerning higher education in the European Region), creation of national structure in education certificate recognition based on National Institute for Higher Education and its inclusion in the European network of similar national centers of ENIC/NARIC, dozens of cooperation agreements in higher education with the countries from all regions of the world, primarily, in the framework of CIS and EEU.
Foreign Credentials Assessment Centre of National Institute for Higher Education (Belarus ENIC) provides the recognition and identifying the conformity of foreign diplomas to an education certificate of the Republic of Belarus.

Terms of education certificate consideration regulated by the Legislation of the Republic of Belarus, and, as a rule, not exceeding one month from the submission of documents.
List of documents required to recognize a diploma:
- Application or a request from organization
- Diploma (original + copy)
- Diploma attachment (original + copy)
- Passport copy
If documents are in English you should also submit:
- Notarized translation (into Russian) copy of diploma (original + copy)
- Notarized translation (into Russian) copy of diploma attachment (original + copy)
Provided education certificates must be recognized.
Applicant has the right to provide other proofs including the documents on education levels, permit to professional activity, practical experience.
