In order to encourage scientific and research activities of applicants in the field of sustainable development, encourage practical solutions to issues related to the development and improvement of the fuel and energy complex of Russia, support the development of applied aspects of environmental education, environmental education, and increase the level of environmental culture of citizens of Russia and neighboring and far-abroad countries – the V. I. Vernadsky Non-governmental Environmental Foundation Moscow, Russian Federation) announces an open competition for student, postgraduate and doctoral scholarships named after V. I. Vernadsky for the 2021-2022 academic year).
Scholarships of the V. I. Vernadsky Foundation are awarded on a competitive basis to students of Russian and foreign higher educational institutions studying in specialty, bachelor’s and master’s programs in various specialties, provided that the scientific and research activities of applicants meet the goals of establishing scholarships. Students enrolled in specialty, bachelor’s, and master’s programs submit documents to regional competition commissions.
In the Republic of Belarus, such a commission works at the Sakharov Moscow State Economic Institute (BSU).
Scholarships will be paid monthly from October 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022 in the amount of:
- Students – 5,000 Russian rubles. ;
- Postgraduates – 9,000 Russian rubles. ;
- Doctoral students – 15 000 Russian rubles.
Deadline for accepting applications for undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral scholarships:
- From July 1, 2021 to August 1, 2021, regional competition commissions accept and edit applications from applicants studying in specialty, bachelor’s and master’s programs, advise on participation in the competition; collect materials by applicants.
- From July 1, 2021 to September 15, 2021, the central competition commission accepts and edits applications from postgraduates and doctoralstudents , advises on participation in the competition, and collects materials by applicants.
- Until September 30, 2021, the results are summed up and the list of winners is formed.
