On December 23, 2020, China Eastern Europe Culture and Education Exchange Center delegation, represented by Zhao Fuqiang, Director of the Center and his Deputy Qu Hao, visited ISEI BSU.
S.A. Maskevich, Director of ISEI BSU, introduced to the Center Heads the history of foundation and development of the institute, its actual state, the specialties Chinese students may be interested in to study at the I, II stages of higher education, the implementation of new educational programs, the development of new scientific fields, and also the institute international activity; he informed the participants about long term cooperation with International Atomic Energy Agency and its participation in the foundation of specialized laboratories in a new building of the institute, which commissioning is planned in 2021.
Zhao Fuqiang, Director of China Eastern Europe Culture and Education Exchange Center, told about the Center interest in cooperation with our institute, represented the Center mission on building cooperation among Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Belarus and the same ones of North-West China; the facilitation of the Center in sharing experience between Belarusian and Chinese scientists; participation of ISEI BSU representatives as observers in the international conference “the Silk Road – 2020” on December 10, 2020; support future joint projects of the Center of the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China.
Sysa A.G., Dean of Environmental Medicine Faculty, Zhilko V.V., Dean of Environmental Monitoring Faculty, Putik V.S., Dean of Advanced Training and Retraining Faculty, took part in the meeting and introduced to the guests the specialties of the faculties, foreign citizens training, academic staff participation in educational and scientific projects. Tonkonogov B.A., Head of Educational Methodological Laboratory of Innovative Technologies, demonstrated in practice the distant training of institute students and normative methodological support of the educational process.
At the meeting, the Parties agreed upon the beginning of joint activity in 2021, determined cooperation fields: participation in conferences, arranged by the Center; mutually beneficial partnerships in the educational field, and the development of new educational programs in prospective educational fields of Chinese citizens.
