In 2020, the ISEI BSU for the first time presented data in the UI Green Metric Ranking of World Universities and is currently the only higher education institution of the Republic of Belarus included in the world-recognized rating of green universities. According to the results of the assessment of international experts, our institute ranks 796th out of 912 higher educational institutions in the world, including 409th in the educational environmental component.
UI Green Metric Ranking of World Universities is a rating of the greenest universities in the world, which was established in 2010 by the University of Indonesia. The participants of this project are hundreds of universities in different countries of the world. The methodology of the environmental rating of higher educational institutions defines such criteria as: energy consumption and economy, rational use of water resources, storage and recycling of waste, the number of published scientific papers on environmental issues, the number of academic disciplines related to sustainable development, etc.
