On October 16, 2020, the ISEI BSU took part in the International Scientific and Practical Online Conference “Continuous Environmental Education for Sustainable Development as an Important Direction of Modernization of the Educational System”, which was held at the L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Nur-Sultan, Republic of Kazakhstan, and was organized through the “Zoom” platform.
At the opening of the conference the participants were addressed with a welcoming speech: Merzadinova Gulnara Tynyshbaeva, doctor of technical Sciences, Professor, Pro-rector on science and innovations of the L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, the city of Nur-Sultan, Republic of Kazakhstan; Somzhurek Baubek Zhumashevich, candidate of historical Sciences, associate Professor, Dean of the faculty of social Sciences of the L. The Plenary session of the conference was attended by Smolnik Nadezhda Sergeevna, Head of the Educational and Methodological Laboratory of Environmental Education at the ISEI BSU, Minsk, Republic of Belarus, with the report “Continuous Environmental Education: Traditional and Innovative Approaches”.

Main goal of this conference was to find innovative technologies for updating the content of continuing education, including greening the pedagogical activities of all levels of educational organizations, and expanding international cooperation in the field of environmental movement.
