International Summer School “Greening the activities of educational organizations”

On June 2, 2020, the International Summer School “Greening the Activities of Educational Organizations” started its work online (dates: June 2-June 18, 2020).

The work of the school is carried out within the framework of the scientific project “Ecologization of the university education system as an innovative way to modernize the spiritual consciousness of students”, and its organizers are: the Department of Social Pedagogy and Self-Knowledge of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University; the UN Development Program in the Republic of Kazakhstan; the Public Council of the basic Organization for Environmental Education of the CIS countries; the UNESCO Network Department for Global Education of the Institute for Development Strategy of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The opening ceremony of the summer school was attended by the Director of the ISEI BSU, Chairman of the Public Council of the basic organization for environmental education of the CIS countries, Sergey Maskevich, who addressed the organizers and participants of the summer school, stressed the relevance and importance of this format of work on environmental education, and also wished fruitful work to the speakers and listeners.

Within the framework of the school, a master class is planned, which will present the experience of the ISEI BSU as a center for environmental education and upbringing in the Republic of Belarus.

The main goal of the summer school is to find innovative technologies in the greening of social and pedagogical activities of educational organizations, to expand international cooperation in the field of environmental and pedagogical education, and eco-volunteer activities. The target audience is experts, scientists and teachers on a volunteer basis from Kazakhstan, Russia, England, Slovakia, Moldova, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan. The audience includes teachers, young scientists, students and eco-volunteers.
