The project \u201cInternational Sakharov College of Radioecology\u201d was considered within UN international cooperation on the solution of the Chernobyl\u2019s issues. It was supported by the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the First Congress in memory of A.D. Sakharov.<\/p><p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 In January 1992, the International Higher College of Radioecology named after A.D. Sakharov was opened at Belarusian State University, the college was transformed into the International Institute on Radioecology named after A.D.
