\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0On December 5-6, XIV International scientific conference of young scientists, undergraduate, master, and PhD students \u00abActual environmental problems\u00bb took place at ISEI BSU. Young scientists, undergraduate, master, and PhD students of our Institute participated in the conference.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The conference began with a plenary session. Among the participants were Prikhodko Ivan, Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus (remote participation), Rodzkin Aleh, Director of ISEI BSU, Lobai Marina, Chairperson of Student Scientific Community of ISEI BSU.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Young scientists worked at four sections: \u00abSocial environmental and ethical pedagogical issues of modernity\u00bb, \u00abMedical ecology\u00bb, \u00abIssues of modern environmental safety (bio-monitoring, bio-indication, bio-rehabilitation, radioecology and radiation safety, environmental monitoring, management and audit. Information systems and technologies in ecology, energy efficient technologies)\u00bb, \u00abBioinformatics. Advanced approaches and methods to study biomolecules\u00bb. The participants presented more than 280 scientific reports and posters reflecting the latest research and projects aimed at solving environmental problems.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The conference has become an excellent platform for sharing experience and developing new approaches to solve environmental issues. The conference has demonstrated the importance of interaction of science and society in pursuit of a more sustainable future. A collection of materials was published based on the results of the conference. It has already been posted\u00a0on the Institute\u2019s website.<\/a><\/p>
