\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Project \u2116 2240116044 \u00abSchool of environmental education for implementation of Sustainable Development Goals in the Republic of Belarus\u00bb was completed by International Sakharov Environmental Institute of Belarusian State University (further \u2013 ISEI BSU) in December 2023 with active participation of UNESCO chair \u00abRadiation and environmental management\u00bb jointly with associated schools of UNESCO in the Republic of Belarus and advisory support of the National Commission of the Republic of Belarus for UNESCO, administrative support of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus.<\/p>

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Project goal is to hold a School of environmental education for lecturers of higher education institutions, teachers, schoolchildren, students of gymnasiums and colleges.<\/p>

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0On December 15, 2023, within the project \u00abSchool of environmental education for implementation of Sustainable Development Goals in the Republic of Belarus\u00bb, the workshop for students of general secondary education institutions was held at \u00abMinsk City Educational and Health Center \u00abLeader\u00bb.<\/p>

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0On December 20, 2023, to enhance teaching staff competencies of secondary and higher education institutions within the project, the round table \u00abEnvironmental education in the CIS countries\u00bb was held with the participation of UNESCO chairs operating in the Republic of Belarus as well as UNESCO chairs from Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan.<\/p>

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0On December 22, 2023, during the project implementation in the educa-tional institution \u00abRepublican Center of Ecology and Local History\u00bb, lecturers gave open lectures for schoolchildren to build environmental knowledge.<\/p>

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0On December 27, 2023, in International Sakharov Environmental Insti-tute of Belarusian State University within the project, a seminar for methodologists of the departments of natural-mathematical and technical activities in the international and regional cooperation as well as coordination of methodological activities of state educational institution \u00abMinsk State Institute for Education Development\u00bb.<\/p>

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Our lecturers are leading scientists-experts in environmental education conducted master classes on the peculiarities of teaching environmental disciplines in secondary school.<\/p>

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The methodologist of the highest category of International Sakharov En-vironmental Institute of Belarusian State University took part in the seminar.<\/p>

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Training methodological pictures and video materials on current environmental problems were provided to the participants.<\/p>

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0High assessment to the participants, aspiration to hold such events regularly were noted at closing of workshops.<\/p>

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0The project contributed to achieving the following Sustainable Development Goals (SDG):<\/p>

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0SDG 3. Good health and well-being; SDG 4. Qualitative education; SDG 5. Gender equality; SDG 11. Sustainable cities and societies; SDG 12. Responsible consumption and production; SDG 13. Combating with climate change; SDG 17. Partnership to achieve goals.<\/p>

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0The project implementation contributes to increasing specialized methodological competence of teachers, developing strategy and tactics for environmental education of schoolchildren of the Republic of Belarus, creating introduction mechanisms of environmental fundamentals into educational process.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
