     On May 20, 2022, the follow up meeting of Public Council of the Base Organization of the CIS state-members on environmental education within the 22nd<\/sup> International Scientific Conference \u00abSakharov readings 2022: environmental problems of the XXIst  century\u00bb took place at ISEI BSU. The meeting was held both in person and online format.<\/p>\n

     Maskevich Sergey, Professor, Director of ISEI BSU, Chairman of Public Council of the Base Organization led the meeting.    <\/p>\n

     Participated in person: Kazak Galina, advisor to the Department of Humanitarian Cooperation, General Political and Social Issues of Executive Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States (presented the report \u00abOn interaction of Cooperation Council in education with the base organizations of the CIS states-members\u00bb), Puhteeva Irina, senior lecturer of Environmental Medicine and Radiobiology Chair of Environmental Medicine Faculty of ISEI BSU (presented the report \u00abOn the results of the 11th<\/sup> International Environmental Olympiad of higher education institutions of the CIS states\u00bb), Strygelskaya Nadezhda, Head of Training and Methodological Laboratory of ISEI BSU (presented the report \u00abOn III International Scientific and Methodological Conference \u00abEnvironmental Education and Sustainable Development\u00bb), Chernaya Violeta, Associate Professor of Medicine of Catastrophes and Emergency Medical of Ryazan State Medical University named after academician I.P. Pavlov of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation (presented the report on the international scientific and practical conference \u00abEnvironmental Safety of the regions of Russia: environmentally legal and economic aspects in terms of a new reality\u00bb).<\/p>\n

     Participated online: Dlimbetova Gayni, Eurasian National University (Kazakhstan); Turekeldieva Rimma, Dulati Taraz Regional University (Kazakhstan); Dziatkovskaya Elena, the Institute for Strategy of Education Development of the Russian Academy of Education (Russia); Avgusmanova Tatyana, the V.I. Vernadsky Non-governmental Ecological Foundation (Russia); Ordobaev Beishenbek, Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (the Republic of Kyrgyzstan).<\/p>\n

     According to the agenda, interim activity results of the base organization of the CIS states-members on environmental education  was discussed following the 2022 Work plan of Public Council and announced proposals for the second half of the year: include the representatives of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Public Council of the base organization of the CIS states-members on environmental education, conduct an online lesson \u00abHydrogen Energy\u00bb, launch a telegram channel \u00abScience and Energy\u00bb, conduct a distant game \u00abWhat? Where? When?\u00bb, and support student eco-volunteering movement (the V.I. Vernadsky Non-governmental Environmental Foundation, the Russian of Federation).<\/p>\n

     In addition, it was announced proposals for the organization and holding of the International environmental Olympiad of higher education institutions of the CIS states in a new format that is important for improving quality of highly qualified specialist training in environmental safety, increasing student interest in education and future profession.<\/p>\n

     At the end of the meeting, participants marked network interaction and methodology experience share during the year. Kazak Galina proposed to apply to the CIS Executive Committee for posting the information within Work plan of Public Council at the CIS portal to reach a wider audience.<\/p>\n

     Following the meeting results, the work of the base organization of the CIS states-members on environmental education considered satisfactory. The participants of the meeting expressed interest in further cooperation and expand interuniversity relations in priority areas within Public Council activity.<\/p>\n
