 Representatives from Uzbekistan: Shukhrat Toshmatov, First Vice-Rector of the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek, Professor, Dean of Biological Faculty; Tokhtasin Abdrakhmanov, Associate Professor, visited ISEI BSU to negotiate upon cooperation development and academic exchange.<\/span><\/p>\n

     Sergey Maskevich, Director of ISEI BSU, Professor; Maria Germenchuk, Deputy Director for Research, Associate Professor; Vyacheslav Zhilko, Associate Professor, Dean of Environmental Monitoring Faculty; Victor Lemeshevsky, Associate Professor, Deputy Dean of Environmental Medicine Faculty, were at the meeting with foreign guests.<\/span><\/p>\n

     Uzbek representatives were told about the history and achievements of the institute, educational and research potentials; in their turn, guests from Uzbekistan spoke about the peculiarities of the educational system of Uzbekistan and marked that development views of Belarus and Uzbekistan coincide.<\/span><\/p>\n

     \u00abBoth people and states can\u2019t live alone. So, we need to keep our partnership\u00bb, \u2013 Shukhrat Toshmatov shared his opinion.<\/span><\/p>\n

     Sergey Alexandrovich thanked foreign colleagues for their interest and hoped the methods and developments of the institute will be in great demand by colleagues from Uzbekistan.<\/span><\/p>\n

     Possible fields of cooperation between ISEI BSU and the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek were also discussed at the meeting. In particular, the cooperation between higher education institutions will be provided through the implementation of eco-projects, the development, and implementation of new joint educational programs, research, the establishment of research centers, etc. Special attention was paid to students and academic staff exchange between the institutions. It was settled to develop a roadmap on cooperation for the 2021\/22 academic year.<\/span><\/p>\n
