On November 19, 2020, the X International Scientific Conference of Young Scientists, undergraduates, undergraduates and Postgraduates “ACTUAL ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEMS” (in English) opened at the ISEI BSU in an online format. 222 participants from 4 countries of the near abroad will discuss the socio-ecological, ethical and pedagogical problems of our time, problems in medical ecology and modern environmental safety – biomonitoring, bioindication, biorehabilitation, radioecology and radiation safety, environmental monitoring, management and audit; information systems and technologies in ecology at the present stage of development for two days (November 19-20, 2020).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The participants of the conference were adressed by Deputy Director for scientific work – Maria Grygorievna Germenchuk, Ph. D. with the welcoming speech. Participants were welcomed by: Deputy Chief of the Environmental Policy, International Cooperation and Science of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus – Larisa Segeevna Lukina; Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of the BSU Alesya Kuzminova; Specialist in Environmental and Social Projects Unitary Enterprise “Coca-Cola Beverages Belarus” – Tatiana Melnikova; Head of the Laboratory of the National Centre for Ecology and Lore – Ivan Rysskih; graduate of the Center for Life Sciences, Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Moscow, Russia) – Julia Sarana; Head of International Projects Department of the Republican Research Unitary Enterprise “Belnis “Ecology” – Ivan Petrovich Narkevich via video conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reports at the plenary meeting were presented by: Kvashuk Evgeny Ivanovich – Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor of the ISEI BSU; Morozik Pavel Mikhailovich – Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor, Leading Researcher of the Laboratory of Human Genetics of the SSI “Institute of Genetics and Cytology of NAS of Belarus; Samsonov Sergei – specialist in the field of molecular modeling, Ph. D., University of Gdansk (Gdansk, Poland); Petrenko Sergey Vladimirovich, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Research Laboratory of Anthropoecology and Public Health of the ISEI BSU; Emelyanenko Evgeny \u2013 engineer of Isotope Laboratory Oositron Emission Tomography, State Institution “N. N. Alexandrov Republican Scientific and Practical Center of Oncology and Medical Radiology”; Melnikova Yanina Igorevna – senior lecturer of the Department of Immunology of the ISEI BSU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the afternoon, the conference continued its work in the framework of the planned sections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
