experimental investigation of plastic deformation by twinning in metals in the presence of prior and concomitant sliding is developed and implemented.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The physical mechanisms and regularities of structural rearrangement of a metal crystal at the stage of advanced twinning are established.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">New physical phenomena during twinning are discovered and studied: spontaneous reversibility of plastic deformation of twinning with increasing load due to sliding; lack of correlation between the processes of generation and movement of twinning dislocations during the development of residual wedge-shaped twins.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Principles of mathematical modeling of twinning plasticity processes in real crystals are developed.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The foundations of the theory of plasticization and hardening of metal crystals during
