tabindex=\"0\" hidden=\"false\"><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The Chair of Environmental Information Systems was established on October 5, 1995 (Order No. 13-O).<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">In 1996-2000 the chair was headed by PhD in Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Muravsky Vladimir Aleksandrovich. The chair trained ecologists in the specialty &#8220;Environmental Information systems&#8221; with the qualification &#8220;Ecologist-Analyst&#8221;. The main research areas are technologies of geoinformation systems, EPR of biological materials.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">From December 2000 to September 2019, the Head of the Chair was PhD in Physics and Mathematics, Associate Professor Vladimir Alexandrovich Ivanyukovich. In 2005, for the first time in Belarus, the Chair organized training of students in the specialty &#8220;Information Systems and Technologies (in ecology)&#8221; with the qualification &#8220;Environmental Software Engineer&#8221;. In 2007, training in the field of Healthcare was started. Correspondence education was organized in both areas of the specialty. In the early 2000s, the chair academic staff was significantly strenghtened. Leading specialists of the institutes of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus were invited to work on a permanent basis \u2013 PhDs in Physics and Mathematics T. V. Smirnova and A. L. Karpey, an employee of the A.D. Sevchenko Research Institute of BSU, PhD in Physics and Mathematics N. B. Borkovsky. Well \u2013 known scientists were invited to read lectures- Doctor in Technical Sciences, Professor A. S. Grinberg, Doctor in Technical Sciences, Professor V. P. Rogunovich, Doctor in Technical Sciences, Professor S. P. Kundas, PhD in Technical Sciences, Associate Professor G. L. Timonovich.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Two PhD&#8221;s theses in Technical Sciences were defended at the chair \u2013 Gishkelyuk I. A. and Khodko O. S. More than 30 graduates of the chair received an academic degree of masters in Technical Sciences, more than 600 graduates obtained the qualification <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">&#8220;Software Engineer&#8221;.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Since September 2019, the Head of the Chair is PhD in Biology, Associate Professor Zhuravkov V. V. Taking into account the new areas of activity, the name of the chair has been changed to the Chair of Information Technologies in Ecology and Medicine.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div
