The public Association “Belarusian Republican youth Union” is the legal successor of the Komsomol of Belarus, the youth Union of Belarus, the Belarusian Patriotic youth Union, and the Belarusian youth Union. The decision to create it was made on September 6, 2002 at the unification Congress.
The main tasks OF the public organization “BRSM” of the Sakharov International State Ecological Institute of BSU are:
- participation in the formation and implementation of the state youth policy;
- supporting youth initiatives and holding events aimed at achieving the statutory goals of the BRSM NGO»;
- participation in the development and implementation of educational, social and other youth programs;
- organization of construction and volunteer groups; secondary employment of students;
- promotion of international youth cooperation;
- education of the members of the NGO “BRSM” of patriotism as the most important spiritual and social value, etc.
