On July 2, 2021, the Sakharov Moscow State University hosted the ceremony of awarding the IAEA certificates and diplomas of the Sakharov Moscow State University on retraining, with the qualification “Radiation Safety Specialist” awarded to students of regional postgraduate educational courses on radiation protection and safety of ionizing radiation sources, organized with the technical support of the IAEA and held from January 25 to July 2, 2021 on the basis of the Sakharov Moscow State University for the tenth time since 2001. Twelve students from 5 countries of near and far abroad (the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Azerbaijan) successfully defended their theses on June 30 and July 1, 2021 in the specialty 1-33 01 71 “Radiation protection and safety of ionizing radiation sources”.
